Our Story
Founded in the year 2024, Panthers Cricket Club came into being through the unification of two outstanding cricket teams hailing from Port Talbot Town and Cowbridge. This strategic amalgamation was driven by the singular vision of creating a powerhouse that celebrates, promotes, and elevates women's cricket within Wales and beyond.
We at Panthers Cricket Club are immensely proud to feature some of the most talented young female cricketers from across the region. Our squad, bursting with potential and skill, has been meticulously selected, bringing together a blend of players who have already begun to make their mark on the field. Their prodigious talent is matched by a robust determination and an unwavering dedication to the sport.
Our cricketers come from diverse backgrounds but share the same unyielding passion for cricket. They are not only gifted athletes but also ambassadors of the game, who embody the values and ethos of our club at every match and training session. With each practice, they push the boundaries of their capabilities, honed by the high-caliber coaching and mentorship that Panthers Cricket Club is honored to provide.

Wales' newest Premier Division Cricket Team
We play 40-over Sunday matches in the 6-team South Wales Premier League alongside Newport, Cardiff, Radyr, Briton Ferry & Pembroke.
We are fortunate to have two amazing venues, both of which have great quality practice facilities and hospitality.
We train on Monday evenings from April to September.
